Ruger P89 DAO question

I recently aquired a Ruger p89 dao from a fellow cgn'er. I was wondering if it was at all possible to maybe mount a light or something like that to it. I'm in the process of getting my wilderness carrying permit so I'd like a light for any of those pesky animals that might want me for a snack (I'm scrawn so I wouldnt be a meal lol). Thanks.

I just bought a rail for my Beretta, will have to try to remember the name of it. It affixes to the take-down button and it surprisingly solid. I think it is called a Tick rail. Not sure if they make one for Rugers but it wouldnt surprise me (I think I could buy one for a Sig or CZ as well).

I just checked out the site for those rails (and yes they are Tick Rails). Unfortunately nothing for the Ruger.

To be honest, if you're getting your wilderness carry permit, your kinda underpowered with a 9mm...

I have a KP89D, and there are very few aftermarket goodies made for them.

Well I've got a nice 870 Wingmaster w/18.5" barrel for the bigger critters. Plus, I'd rather just try making a loud noise first before actually trying to take down an animal.
