I tried them in Calgary they said they were out but had 11 on order. Could take 6 weeks to 3 months they dont know.

I bought mine from Wholesale when they were $650 a few years back. It takes forever for them to come in, but that's pretty much the only way.

If I was you, I'd take my SIR catalogue to your nearest gun dealer, and try to get them to match the price on it. I did, and I got the p89 in stainless for just fifty bones more than the list price was for the plain black one at SIR. Plus, it only took them about a week to get it in.

I bought that exact gun in September from ryan at Wolverine Supplies, He had to order it but had it to me in 2 weeks. Excellent service. By the way I love that gun.

I am not sure I want a diffrent one. I sure enjoyed the trigger on the P89 so I can't see why the KP89 would be at all that diffrent. I like a heavy gun. Sure you fatigue a little faster but the accuracy is worth it. The P89 though not as heavy as Desert Eagle 40, feels right for me and I could enjoy many hours of paper splitting action. Unlike the Glock and Sig Saur plastic toy guns, I like the heavier feel of steel.

i had a p89 ruger,i didn't care to much for it,was a fun pistol at first but that fades away fast.it is definately accurate and very front heavy but a solid gun,as far as looks,why does ruger have to print half the frikin manual on the frame?

Well I finaly settled on the KP94D very nice and as soon as I picked it and aimed it I knew right from there it was the right one for me. Right on target. Who cares if the write all over it, thats not why I choose or not choose a firearm.

i must agree, the p89 stainless feels awesome with the hogue grips and the weight is just right.
