Hello Everyone!
I am new here, my dealer suggested I join as I am looking to purchase two (2) Ruger P89DC (decock only, blued) pistols. Please email me if you have one or two for sale. Thank you!

Wow! You actually like these P89s?:D

Kidding. I got two stainless P89 safety versions. Love em. No issues in thousands of rounds. BTW, I don't keep accurate count of the number of shots in any of my guns.

Look around. Join a club and ask members if you can try their guns. Ruger P89 is a good starter pistol. SR9 and SR40 are on same or slightly higher level.

P89/90/91 series pistols are DA/SA aluminum alloy framed, service type pistols (i.e. big framed, heavy duty). Blocky look and feel. Old School for sure.

Different flavor than modern polymer SR series or Glock original and copycats. Nothing wrong with both of these genres, they have their differences and pros/cons.

I like them both and there is a place for DA/SA and striker fired pistols, in my safe at least.

I love my P89 and after putting in a modified p95 trigger I think it was ... I like it even better. This was my first handgun and will be with me till the end. It eats anything and is accurate enough for me. Lots of guys dont like them cause there blocks personally id take the p89 over the sr9 any day its built better and to me feels better in the hand.
