For those of you that have purchased the Ruger PC 9 with the factory MLOK forearm on the rifle would you say it is better than the aftermarket available ones ?

Would you purchase the Ruger PC 9 with the factory MLOK forearm or but the basic Ruger PC 9 and put on the
Midwest handgaurd ? Pros and cons of Factory vs Aftermarket ?
Thank You !

I have a basic rifle in the basement right now - just waiting on the Midwest handguard, waiting in limbo with the CBSA, which I ordered from Brownells. I'll let you know when it gets here, but I liked the aesthetic of the Midwest handguard and chassis - very pseudo-nouveau-Thompson SMG, in my opinion.

If you want any of the aftermarket handgaurds, I understand that they only work with the original/basic rifle, not the factory MLOK guns.

I have one of the restricted versions. Took the open sites off, MidWest fore end, six position stock and some McCarbo internal parts. Ext. mag release and will probably change the trigger.
Personally i think the standard gun is butt ugly but they are accurate and easy to shoot.

I don't think the standard is Ugly. its just BORING!!!

That is a plus and minus.

In its Non-Restricted from being boring looking strapped the front of an ATV is big plus.
It looks like a 10/22 and wont turn many heads

that being said, I really like the idea of an adjustable stock because its not just me shooting mine.
And as long as im following the law i should be able to do whatever i want. But we all know how that goes......

I really like it too. However an adjustable stock would make the Ruger PC9 look like a scary gun that the Liberals would want to ban, so ...

I have the MI mlok handguard. It’s great...don’t really have anything negative to say about it. But I’ll probably be selling it for the magpul backpacker stock etc
