Ruger PC Carbine optic

I started with a Bushnell AR LPVO 1-4 and the mount from my AR as well. That added 2 pounds on a 7 pound rifle! I got tired of dragging this 9 pound combo around so I switched to a cheapo red dot and voila, much more fun to use as long as I don't need to shoot past 60 yards. For longer shots, I can also put the the LPVO back on.

I put a Bushnell nitro 1-6x24 illuminated German #4 reticle scope on mine with a Vortex cantilever mount. It was for sale from one of the sponsoring dealers, but is different from the common reticles found normally. Works great.

I got a Holosun 510C on mine and it works amazing. You can even pickup a silicone cover on Amazon for around $23.

For my money an LPVO is the way to go, I have a relatively inexpensive Bushnell AR 1-6x24 Illuminated on my PC Carbine and it is just right for the rifle... good accuracy out to 100 yards, but we mostly shoot courses under 50 yards... it is close to being as fast as a red dot and much more accurate.
