Don't forget the non-restricted tax.
G26 mags? Maybe too small.Glock 19 mags wouldn't stick out quite so thumbish, would they?
Anything more compact than that? Even to give up a couple rounds
Like most ruger products, after exchange, mark up etc I expect to see them about 25-30% over the American msrp but in CAD. I’m guessing a Canadian street price around 900 bucks.
Some guys on YouTube (like the Military Arms Channel) are speculating that this rifle will be set up for caliber conversions .... after disassembling, it seems parts could be swapped out easily and a new barrel added. If that’s the case, there would be a huge market for these.
Would the longer barrel make much difference for a 40 cal or 10 mm? I know the 9mm benefits from a longer barrel, but just a little bit really.
These look very overbuilt compared to say a kel Tec .... they should be pretty rugged.
Look here for some data. There's next to zero gain by adding 2.5 inches.

Foot pounds is correct. Thanks, that’s a great chart .... I’m assuming foot pounds for muzzle energy?
I was thinking more of the longer barrel of a carbine vs pistol rather than 16 vs 18.5” barrel, but this chart answers that question too ... perfect.
So a dealer just posted on Facebook that they have a order in for some non restricted pc9 takedown.
Has anyone herd if they started pumping out longer barreled ones?

Oh man I suck at posting images. Long story short, I posted some links to ruger from this forum saying we are pretty excited about this rifle in Canada and they replied this morning saying they are looking at a non-restricted option.
And my computer illiteracy has reached a new low, as I can’t seem to embed the email response.
Who?
