Yeah they are a bit of a tank for their size. Would of been sweet if it wasnt built on takedown considering the size of it.

If you really want the shorty, you can order it sans receiver. I believe all the parts should be compatible with the NR carbine. If you convert a NR to 6.5” barrel, it becomes R

So, what we're saying here is you can legally buy the longer non restricted "rifle" version of this but the 6.5" version is considered a pistol but you can legally buy just the 6.5" "upper" just fine (because it's not a firearm itself) and attach it to the "lower" from the non restricted version and you think you could then get it registered as a restricted rifle?

It's a fun idea and maybe dumb enough to actually work with our laws at least a few times but I wouldn't be the guinea pig who tries it with my own money lol
