Ruger PC9 Muzzle Brake?

I'm running the VG6 Gamma on mine, its helped soften the sharper impulse of the PC9 and looks great. It took a while to find one but its been a worthy upgrade.
 
I installed a MCarbo brake on my NR 9mm JRC mainly because it was on sale for like 69 bucks. It undeniably reduces muzzle jump compared to no muzzle brake. No noticeable reduction in recoil. But the muzzle jump reduction was what i was mainly hoping for to aid in timed competition shooting. I would say its worth it if the brake isnt too expensive.... i wouldnt pay say.. 100 for the performance i got tho. People taunt the notion of brakes on a 9mm PCC ... but those same people dont hesitate to run a brake on a .223 and PCCs IMO have noticably more muzzle jump and recoil/ action impulse then a .223.
