I see Reliable Gun has the Backpacker on sale for $909 which I think is a pretty decent price. I love my Ruger PCC but if I was chasing a backpacker 9MM rifle I would think the new S&W FPC would be a better option. If noting else it weighs less. The Ruger is a heavy carbine. The Smith would be quicker to get into action.
