My brother just bought a ruger pc9 from easthill outdoors. 729.00$ it was plus tax. 500 rounds of barnaul through it today without a hitch. Nice accurate out of the box. Rings the gong at 100yds consistently. Put on a cheap red dot I had and was even better.would recommend from what I see.

Ruger has a winner of a rifle in that 9mm carbine....i'm waiting for next year or the year after when they release they release a stainless steel one or some other version of the same rifle. I know they have not announced anything but it follows the companies track record to do such a thing with a successful model. For practical shooting I think its one of the best 9mm options. I don't own one just seen them online, maybe one day if I get to shoot one I will consider adding one to the pile, as is I have a take down 10/22 but don't shoot it very often.

Is their any confirmation of a stainless steel one to be released?

I'd love love one in SS

I like mine so far (for the most part.)

I've got about 500 rounds through it. About half FMJ and the other half two different kinds of JHP. Not one malfunction of any kind.

I've only had one issue. It never did this in the beginning, but it seems to do it fairly often now. When the carbine is taken down in two pieces with the bolt locked back, the bolt will sometimes slam closed while I'm putting the carbine back together. It is brutal. If I'm not able to fix the problem, I think I will just get rid of it and buy something else.

That sucks. If the problem continues I'll give you $500 for the piece of junk.

Missed that deal, did not see this til the sale was over.

Why not just leave an empty mag in it when you lock the bolt open?
