Ruger PCC LH shooter gas to face?

Shouldn't it be the same, LH or RH? I moved my charge handle to the left side and shot it RH and didn't notice any gas.

I believe he means burning bits of gas and powder particles coming out the ejection port which is an issue for lefty shooters with blowback guns. Changing the charging handle does nothing to prevent the gas and debris coming out of the ejection port when your face is on the same side as the ejection port. I haven't had a chance to shoot mine yet so cannot answer. But will have to see myself. I got lots of that with my Sub 2000 till I got the deflector kit from MCarbo. Not an issue now with the Sub 2000 but will be wearing glasses and a buff anyway with the Ruger when I first shoot it.

ive shot probably 1000 rounds through mine and im a left handed shooter.
i have yet to notice any gas in my face.

that said, i have 5 AR's and ive never noticed gas in the face.
i have a mini 14 and a mini 20 and i have never noticed gas in the face.

i have in fact never noticed gas in the face with any semi auto.

i would imagine that shooting a bull pup would be a different story.

now, BRASS i have had before.
i had a AR that use to flick them almost straight back and they use to graze my right check from time to time.

I'm liking the Ruger because I own (and love) the SR9/9E pistols so I already have a bunch of magazines.

I'm a lefty and There is no issue with it. The PCC has the same opening on both sides of the bolt, so if there were an issue it would be universal, one would think.

Another lefty here , was at Bass Pro, looking at a Ruger PCC , shoulder the rifle and the old guy behind the counter says I'm going to have problems with the gas and particle blow back , being left handed , didn't argue with him just smiled .
Only rifle I've ever had issue with regarding gas and blow back was a Kel tec 2000 and that's because the ejection port is so far back .

The PCC ejects at 2 o'clock making it user friendly even when shot from support side (whether you qre a lefty or not)...so it's not brassy, but yes 9mm makes it gassy.
