What are the bipod options for the Ruger Precision Enhanced?

It has a keymod shroud which is my first non picatinny experience - so is all keymod the same?

I`m open to suggestion but I kinda like the look of the MPOD but how does it get attached? Use a keymod to picatinney adaptor and then get the MPOD in picatinney?

I`m thinking of this direction as this means I could use the MPOD (or whatever bipod I end up getting) with my other guns

Thoughts?

This PWS keymod bipod adapter will give you the ability to mount a harris on there.

Hmmm, so is Harris the type of Bipod or style of connector (like picatinney)?

This came with the gun - is this a Harris?

Harris is a manufacturer of bipods and there are also clones out there not made by Harris but is pretty much the same thing.

You can get an Atlas but you'll need a picatinny adapter.

You can message Jerry from Mystic Precision(site sponsor)for a rail. This is what I have on my Ruger Precision.
My MPOD from Jerry slides right on.

Check out eBay and search for pickatinny bipod and you'll find all sorts of options from inexpensive (20 bucks) to whatever you'd like to spend.

I found the rail adapter to fit the Harris style is not wide enough and the torque under recoil loosens that type so you have to tighten all the time.

You are better off with a bipod designed to fit the rail directly.

It comes with a keymod to picatinny rail chunk.

Just purchased the RPR enhanced in 6.5 CM and this is what I was given. In order to mount a Harris you remove the middle keymod piece and screw in a swivel stud in its place. Find a Ruger RPR manual and it will walk you through it. Its quite solid and works well.

Are you saying the keymod to picatinny chunk should be included with the RPR out of the box?

This what you have had included with your rifle if it was the "enhanced" version...not sure about the gen 1 RPR. Mine is set for a Harris bipod and by removing the stud and replacing with that bolt you are set for an Atlas style attachment. Hope this helps

No, I don't have that - I purchased the RPR (Gen 2 enhanced) via EE so it had fired 3 shots before i took ownership

Do you have a picture of the rear of that rail? I`m curious to see how it attaches to the Keymod and if the rail has curved ends to "seat" properly on the curved Keymod
