Ruger Precision Rifle Coming Soon!

A little bored this morning and thought this thread was getting too low on the list. Moving it up the ladder might help speed up the delivery.........

Oh well, time to put some unicorn poop on the garden before winter comes.
 
I gave up waiting and bought a Tikka CTR. But I look forward to range reports form those of you with more patience than I have!

honestly, between the unknown wait time and the lack of good solid reviews (lots of fluffy ones out there), I would say get the Savage now and enjoy shooting it while everyone else is still waiting around for their RPR to arrive in Canada.... If the RPR platform proves to be as good as advertised, it will be around for a very long time and you can always buy one in a couple of years when the new and improved gen 2 version inevitably comes out!
 
Yup, talked to a buyer at one of the largest suppliers in Canada (name withheld as is not a sponsor but starts with a "C")....
indication was next summer at the earliest.
If Wanstalls can get the scoop on them, I'll be ordering from them..........

did you get a refund for the deposit? I think "very soon" when this was posted was a little misleading. I figured a month or two max. But if we are looking into Summer.. I can think of other things i could use that $400 for with christmas coming and all
 
Im going to assume that "other dealer" did not get in on the initial order as we did. WE are still under the same delivery time as stated by RUGER in early September, nothing has changed>>> 1 month maybe ....3 months most likely. Stay tuned...

Thanks, I'll be waiting. I've been tempted to go other routes a few times, but so far I've been able to stay strong *lol*
 
We haven’t heard that they have crossed the border yet but they are in transit with all regulatory paperwork tied up. We are hopeful that we will be shipping our first batch of rifles by the end of the month.

I did get a bit of an update.

It should be noted that that is NOT from Wanstalls, but another dealer.
