Ruger Precision Rifle Coming Soon!

any chance anyone heard if these are coming into the outdoorsman here in the Hat ? if so what was their time frame of receiving them so I may have a chance to look and hold one ?
 
I went down there and talked to Jason when this thread first popped up. He said that they will be getting them in. However, he couldn't offer me any information as to a timeline, price, or what calibre they would be getting. He also mentioned the mag legality issue. Which is why I pre ordered with wanstalls.

Just pop in and pay him a visit.

I thought Wanstalls said mid September when this add popped up. But have since stated 1 to 3 months as of August 26. That sounds closer to Christmas . I'm thinking of cancelling my .308 order and going a different route. 3 months is to long for me. So I may have an opening for a 308 for someone. If Wanstalls is OK with that and I decide later tonight.

I recall a date of September 10, 2015 when I placed my order. When did they change this to 3 months later?
 
"The Ruger Precision Rifle is coming soon, here at Wanstalls. Very soon. Sooner than you might think."

Stuff happens, it's worth waiting for but would be good to know if this is going to make it for the hunt this Fall.

It's in the posts, I'm not sure how far in though. It says 1 to 3 months from the date of this post. Which was aug 26. So I take 1 to 3 to usually mean 3.
 
You never know, I'm not blaming anybody, it's just that I don't want to wait that long. And for those asking , it's on page 24( the delay announcement ).
 
I hear how popular these are in the US, and how small the Canadian market is for the big firearms companies, and how they cannot fill the void Stateside. We are not high priority I am afraid.
 
Whatever. I'll wait till whenever, just to be the first to have one in Canada. If I can still hunt with the 10 round mag then I don't care about getting one instead of two. What would bother me would be another dealer getting them first.
