We've almost worked through all the calls for pre orders on this initial shipment....It looks like Ruger has shipped Canada roughly 70% of what was ordered for all dealers, so there looks to be a shortfall on this first shipment. We've been going through the orders (in order) of when we received them... They do plan to ship more soon (2 more shipments) from what we hear, but no definite time frame has been communicated yet as they have been focusing on getting this current shipment into Canada. We should know soon and will notify everyone as soon as we know! Thanks for your patience...

You guys should be contacting the people who put a deposit down (I put mine down in August) and give them a update (if they didn't make the cut for this shipment). A little communication goes a long way...especially when we are now 3 months in.
I put money down for a 308 in July. I didn't get any info until I emailed wanstalls. I know how you feel man. You would think they would have taken inventory of what came in before getting our hopes up for 2 days. I'm not happy at all about this but I'm still going to wait a little longer before dropping out.

I emailed them and they replied. Unfortunately I put my order first week of september so I'm out of luck. BUT at least I know we are going somewhere. This is supposed to be my 2015 firearm purchase, I guess it might come in 2016.

I did a non-down payment Pre-Order with another dealership, for @ $1700. And just might get the RPR this week.. But, as I started to shop around through every site I know of.. I've found several RPR's for sale in various calibres around Canada. There definitely are some out there in stock with some of the lesser known Ruger dealers.
do you know who has a new rpr in 308?

Sorry pal, I did my last search a few days ago and RPR's were an endangered species... I found my 6.5 Creedmoor with Lever Arms and have sealed the deal. (btw they are expecting more but have no details on arrival) Also Grouse River Outfitters in Kelowna got their shipment today, so give them a ring, they still don't know if all pre-orders are accounted for but they got a couple pallets of PRP's too.
