Ruger Precision - Thoughts and advice?

Mine could hardly be called a Ruger RPR anymore, with the upgrades I've done. JC Custom barrel in 6.5x47L was the best upgrade. Load testing last weekend, and out of 15 completely different loads, there was only 1 that was over 1" 5 shot group, with most around the .5 " and the best ones in the .3's. There is several forums online talking about the trigger and removing a spring to lower the weight. I have just backed mine off completely and it breaks consistently at 1 3/4 lbs. Which I am more than happy with. The creep was horrid though. I'm not saying to rush out and do this, but I took mine apart and shortened the sear out to remove most of the travel. It only took few minutes and wasn't very difficult to do. I did the bounce test and several bolt slams and it has not tripped the trigger once on me. It's actually not a bad trigger now.
