I been out of the loop for a bit and need an estimate on a rifle I may be selling to a friend ( not going on the EE)and I do not want to rip him or myself off, so any help would be appreciated.

Ruger M77 MkII stainless with all weather stock
Purchased new in 2002 for $800
Low round count (100 max)
Trigger replaced with a Timney
Very good condition
Comes with Ruger rings
Without scope

My daughter took some for me with my phone so they are not the best pic's.

Seeing as how its a Ruger thread, anyone have any ideas on pricing for a 270 or 30 cal Ruger No 1 full stock. I don't have one, but would love to... Just wondering what a guy could expect to spend on one.

The only No1 RSI I have, I paid $750 for scoped($75). 243 with 18.5 pipe. You don't see that many used come up.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that without glass, the rifle is probably worth about 60% of the purchase price. The Timney might add a few bucks to the value, but its essentially a $500 rifle. At $500-$550 you would be asking a fair price, or you can go a bit higher with the expectation that you'll be haggled back down. Your biggest problem is that there are rifles of equal quality, in more desirable chamberings (a .308 is a great rifle to own, but a hard one to flog) for less money . . . at least in the eyes of the sharp eyed consumer who will immediately look at a Weatherby Vanguard for less that $500 new.
