Ruger ranch rifle opinions please

I own a Mini-14 and have owned 4 or 5 of them through the years and 1 Mini-30. None of them would have won any benchrest matches but they are fun to shoot and with handloading you can shrink the groups somewhat. The one thing they all had in common was the atrocious triggers! A trigger job on one would be a good start as well to improve accuracy.
