Ruger Redhawk 4.2 bbl. in 45 Colt

The Redhawk can handle the hot rodded .45 LC loads and can potential outperform the .44 mag (not that it matters much in this country). I would take the .45 over the .44 any day.

I've had several 44 mags and currently have an old 3-screw Ruger flat top but I don't shoot heavy stuff through it, strictly mild cast loads.
I do have a hankering for a 45 Long Colt as having never played with one...

Here's my new to me 4.2'' Redhawk .45 Colt I purchased from Surfer365. It came with the wood grips pictured plus the Hogue grips, a speed loader, and two speed strips. The transfer is done and I'm just waiting for it to be shipped. I'm in need of some brass & dies now. I can hardly freakin' wait! :D

Thats a nice looking revolver! :D Wolverine and Ellwood are not showing stock listed:( Anyone seen a dealer with one on the shelf in 44mag?

Here's mine in 44mag. It's awesome to shoot and really wakes up the indoor range;).
The large frame and heft makes it feel real bada$$ (says my son)
A nice change of pace from shooting the semi's. If you can find one in either cal....get it!
