Help me out here guys.
What is a Ruger redhawk revolver in stainless 44 mag 7.5 inch barrel worth in excellent condition?
thanks so much

I think its worth a lot more than the smokin deal Crazey Davey got on his. I'd venture a guess of $600 or more for the gun alone.

Yes, I must admit it was a pretty good deal. The seller was great to deal with as well and very honest. A little work and it now looks like this:

Even now, I don't think I would pay much more than $550 for a used one by itself. But that's just me :)

crazy_davey, that's not a seven and a half inch barrel is it? Was it? Is your's the shorter barrelled version or did you have it shortened?

redhawks come in 2 lengths and two variations- 5.5 , it's a little nicer/handier than the 7.5 - i know i've got 2- the other is the 7.5 and it comes in with and without scope- retail new for the 5.5 was about 700, the unscoped 7.5 was about 750 and the tricked out version with the rings was 8 25 or so- i would strongly suggest you to at least feel each version out and really ask yourself if you want the scoped version- i got that first and while it has a vent rib and having the option is nice, the 5.5 is far more a better pistol- you should also try the super , as there's a different feel again ( different frame) and its the same money if you stick to 44 mag- i don't think you can get it in 5.5 inch barrel though

I also paid $450 for mine, with a 5.5" barrel in S/S. It came in the original box with manual, a new in the box Uncle Mike's nylon shoulder holster, a gun sock, original wood grips plus Pacmayr presentation rubber grips, a lewis lead remover kit in 44, a set of 4 replacement (and if you asked me decorative only) plastic front sights, two HK speed loaders and 50 empty brass.

The previous owner must be the nicest guy I have ever bought a gun from. Dealing with him was an unforgetable experience for sure.
