Hi all, I'm awaiting the transfer of a Ruger Redhawk 4.2" chambered in .45 Colt and able to shoot .45acp with moonclips. I've never used a revolver with moonclips before and have no idea how difficult they are to load and unload. Anyone already done the search and could point me in the right direction to buy clips and loading tool? I'd also appreciate any tips on where to find a good holster.

For holsters I went with the Galco DOA holster. Works great and fits like a glove. My only complaint would be that it is not a thumb break holster, which I prefer. You have to lift up on the snap to undo it, and then grab the grip to extract it from the holster. The holster itself fits beautifully and is very well made. I own a fair amount of galcos for that reason. I also bought a pair of Nille Griffe grips. Expensive, but they both for and feel amazing. Not everyone’s cup of tea I suppose, but I dig them
