Ruger redhawk polished

Very nice! Been thinking on similar for my own 7.5" Redhawk. How long and and steps if you don't mind sharing the details?

Looks good. As oldfrank said, put some nicely grain wood grips on it and you are good to go.

Mothers and a slightly abrasive tea towel. And 25 years of practice. If i could find a set of grips they would be on there already. Those rubber grips are too big.

I had put a set of Nills on my old Redhawk. Very nice but they made for a full grip if that is an issue.

Hogue wood grips are slimmer and still well finished.

Hogue semi-custom grips on my 5.5" Redhawk:

Short stubby fingers, i would really like a set of simple ruger panel grips.

I have small hands and the ones above are pretty decent for me. No finger grooves means I can put my hand where I want and they aren't too thick to make the reach tough.
