Ruger redhawk polished

Took the polisher to my red hawk yesterday. I like the result.

I'm wondering the same thing. It looks good - I've been wanting to polish my Ruger Hunter but have been saving my elbow grease, so to speak.

Looks good. As oldfrank said, put some nicely grain wood grips on it and you are good to go.

Mothers and a slightly abrasive tea towel. And 25 years of practice. If i could find a set of grips they would be on there already. Those rubber grips are too big.

The cylinder is made from super hard steel, it was the hardest chunk to get shiney.

I have small hands and the ones above are pretty decent for me. No finger grooves means I can put my hand where I want and they aren't too thick to make the reach tough.
