Ruger releases the new PC Carbine

Dunno about the non takedown part but I would be shocked if boyds doesn't already working on wood stocks for this.

No doubt, doesn't look like the design is outside of boyd's expertise.
Ruger also seems to be good for making wood stocks available as a factory option, eventually.

The looks won't inspire the Tactical AR wannnabe crowd but for what it is it looks fine to me..... and for $500 out the door down south it should do pretty good for Ruger.

With the 10/22 takedown going for $500-$600 around here these days, I can imagine they’ll be popular enough to be much pricier here.

Wow, I’ve been wanting one of the originals for a while, but I heard the originals were heavy duty having been made for law enforcement; I wonder if these will be as durable as the originals. Love the original look more, but I like the takedown option so much.
I wonder if the Glock adapter will be finicky and dureable? If the msrp stands, I’d consider getting one maybe even, if restricted.

When are these bring released? Are they already out?

Mag release appears to be in a terrible spot.

Maybe the aftermarket will offer the same amount of available upgrades as the 10/22 can get.

I'm impartial to it's looks but like the idea. Not a huge fan of the takedown though, seems like they could have made it without and come in ~$50 cheaper, hopefully they make a model without in the future. Seems like its in a class/pricepoint of its own, what does it have to compete with?

I have a PC4 and it is awesome...to bad it is restricted though. I would be up for one of these if it was 44 mag or 45 acp and NR.
