Are factory Ruger rings identical front and rear? I recently went to change the scope on my Model 77 VT (223 heavy barrel). It seems to me that one of the rings is slightly "higher or taller" than the other. By eyeballing the rifle, it does seem that that the rear receiver base is slightly lower (therefore requiring a higher ring) than the forward base to keep the scope level. I have looked at the two rings but do not easily see any obvious marking to distinguish them. Thanks for any advice.
