I have a Ruger M77 in a 7 mm Rem mag and what are the proper scope rings for it.The ones I bought from a member here are med height, but the ones on the Ruger website are different heights. It says that the rear mount is taller than the front , and the ones I have are only different by about 15 tho or so.I ran out of clicks on my scope while trying to get it sighted in.I am hitting 5 in low at 25 yrdsand there is no more adjustment.Anyone got any suggestions. Is it my scope or is it the rings that have me baffled???

Thanks

the difference is a lot more than .015...more like .100 IIRC...you have rings for a M77 rimfire,Hornet or a #1 or #3.

You have quite likely twisted your scope out of shape by tourqing it into those rings....

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! A Mark I or Mark II is a Ruger PISTOL!!!!
A Ruger rifle is an M77, M77 Mark II, M77 Hawkeye...

Amen to that...there never was a Mark I rifle.....it's an M77...or an "Original M77"...or a "Tang Safety M77"...never a Mark I....bugs me too.....

...and the Tang Safety M77 and the M77 Mark II use the same rings...unless it's an old round top Tang Safety M77 that uses the same bases as a Rem 700...
