Ruger Scout (or other 18inchers) loud?

took the ruger scout of for its first time and i gotta say its not that loud. Its pretty loud to the right of it but while your holding it its only lightly louder than my sks, about the same as my shotgun with slugs.

its nice and short and pretty accurate(more than me)

(remington) mohawk 600 308 with an 18.5 inch barrell, kicks hard, is louder than a longer barrelled 308, and at dusk you get a nice flash from the barrell. Great bush carbine, 6lbs.

My Tanker Garand copy in .308 has a barrel length of the exact same as yours.
I would say it's louder than longer barrelled 308s.
The pressure wave from the muzzle is more pronounced also.

I shoot a 760 Carbine [18.5"] in 308. Guaranteed loud, not only to the shooter, but bystanders will appreciate it as well.
