I have a 6" barrel. Any tricks involved to replace the 4" on the gun now?

Look for: "The Ruger RevolversDouble Action Revolvers) A Shop Manual Volume 1. By Jerry Kuhnhausen. Available through Amazon. Also Brownells. Should have what you need.

Or Nonte's book; you'll just need a file and a dowel instead of all the fancy equipment .
