As a starting point, glancing through the Blue Book, the designation of 'Super Single Six' I believe is an indication it is a convertable. Back to the Blue Book, they value a 6 1/2", blued is listed at $150.oo for one in rough or 60% condition, up to$500.oo for one that is mint or 100%.
Mine is a little different, an sarly single six, flat loading gate model.

See you tomorrow:).

240gord...is it for sure chambered for 22 Mag, my information has your gun as a 22LR made in 1967 this model manufactured from 1964-1972.
I am speculating here but the target sights may have qualified this gun as SUPER as most of the Single Six's had fixed sights.

In case my information was incorrect as regards the 22LR chambering it should be noted that 22LR can loosely fit into a 22Mag chamber but it is not safe to shoot as the 22LR case can split and cause injury.

Again, in the Blue Book, the only reference I see made to 'Super' is in conjunction with the convertable option. :confused:Curious, did they also come or were they available as either a 22LR or 22 Mag??

Here is a link to the Ruger site and the info that I gave:

http://ruger.com/service/productHistory/RE-SSSix.html

Shows as 22LR and doesn't mention 22Mag but it is 22Mag so maybe someone changed the cylinder.

As far as value that would depend on condition...can't really see much detail in the pics provided and the Magnum ammo needed might be a problem for some buyers due to cost.
New model Single Six "convertable" sell new for about $600.
