Another very happy 3 screw SS owner here as well. And yes, they are a great gun. I've used mine to shoot some of the tightest groups I've ever shot at 20 yards in my club's indoor range.

Mine came to me looking a little tired. But I got it for the princely sum of only $150 so I'm OK with a generous amount of "patina"

What I really like is the smoother streamlined look of the low fixed rounded front sight and minimal rear sight.

My favourite hand gun to take to the range.
Sure wish we could pack a .22 into the bush when hunting, be a nice grouse getter.
Anyone have / try the Ruger in 17HMR ??

Ruger Single Six was my first revolver back in the mid-eighties.
Shot it at the Sea Island Forum ..when it was still standing.
Fun times back in the day, even if it was indoors.
