Where can I find a Ruger sp 101 in .22cal.

Ive seen 1or 2 come up in the ee but none of the canadian dealers Ive contacted can get them. There seems to be several on gunbroker...is that were guys are getting them from?

A few trickled in initially but Ruger has been slammed on the production side. They are expanding production but till then it's get in line and wait or like you suggest look at importing one yourself.

I have a .357 and will get a .22lr when they finally start coming in...... Great gun.

Only gun I actually want right now and I can't find one. Here or in the US....

Waiting game is the only option right now far as I can tell.

Mark - You and I are on the same page.
The SP101 in 22lr is the only piece I've really had my eye on for some time. If you or anyone else sees them come available I want in on that action.
Until then I will join you in the waiting game

No they don't. I have asked a few times. Why they don't show inventory (i.e. out of stock) on their website is beyond me. I have dealt with them in the past and had good experiences, but the last 2 major purchases I have tried to make with them I was told they are out of stock and had no idea when they would get more, when their website gives the impression that they have them.

I had the same experience.. it just bugs me they do that..

i dont even go to their website anymore.
they have any gun ever made listed and it looks like in stock.... until you order it and get the email telling you its back-ordered.

now if am really hunting for something i call them.

I got mine from wolverine after a 1 year wait.

Despite the rarity of the firearm, wolverine did not gouge, and charged msrp. Kudos to them for being fair. They could have asked more and I would have paid. It is a great plinker and i am happy to have it.

I would check with the sponsors here and get on whichever waiting list it the shortest. Its like a miniature lottery when you get the email. Good luck!
