Could you let me know where you got the conversion kit? ThanksBought mine like new and unfired on consignment for $500. It is on my no sell list, especially since it works so well with the Kimber 22LR conversion. I could shoot it better than my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow.
I love my SR1911 Govt model which I bought off a sponsor here slightly used. Just that it keeps giving me small issues. when I first got it, the grip safety was intermittently failing and I had to bend the spring a little more which made it problem free since. Now today during my 45ACP session(SR1911 and G41). After 72-rounds, the front-sight just broke off from the base plate. see the pictures below. My G41 finished the rest of the ammo without any issues. Now I have to deal with warranty.

See if they'll put their fiber optic sight on there for you. Even if you have to pay the difference, it's night and day. I blacked out my rear sights with a marker and got a fiber optic sight put on, so much better than stock.
I picked up a SR1911 in June, brand new for $665. Great gun for a great price.
Really wish I could get some affordable 45acp ammo though.

OP when you receive your gun make sure to remove the grips and check underneath to make sure there's no rust or marks. I changed my grips about 6 months after I bought mine and notice a few spots (not rust but kind of black marks) under my grips. Ruger told me I could send it in. But most of them came off with an oily rag and there's no pitting. Maybe this winter I'll send it in and buy a 9 to tide me over til I get it back.
thats had some work done to it.
front strap added, repainted.
all the laser marks gone, all the add on's painted to match the gun.
interesting.
if that a Dura Coat or is that a chroming?
