I've had a crack at a couple of these now but passed.
While it's always cool to be the first kid on the block with the newest toy....
I've come to realize that stainless pistols just aren't my thing.
I'd like to see Ruger bring out a nicely blued verions of their SR1911.
In the interim, all you guys that did get one, enjoy your new 1911's!

I'm big Ruger fan, but I've noticed that it's usually good idea to wait 3-5 years with spending your money after they introduce anything.
I'll wait and see.
The same goes for the Ruger Scout rifle.
I really would like to pick up one, but it only got B- rating from the only magazine I trust (http://www.gun-tests.com/) with quite a few suggestions for improvement.
I agree - blued version of this 1911 would be nice.
