Hi guys, just got my sr-22 off the EE.

KILLER DEAL!!! came with scope mount, riser, scope (prolly no name), and 2 butler steel clips

LOOKS SO COOL.....

ONLY COMPLAINT (besides the fact that it is a .22 :)

is that the bolt release lock is a little bit ridiculous to work

I hear there is an automatic bolt release --- would it be easy to install on the SR-22, and if so, how easy?

cheers guys... LOVING the sr-22!!! was going to go blap it today at buddy's farm but it's a bit late in the afternoon now,

Super easy. The only difference from doing an SR vs a regular 10/22 is you have to take the SR kit off the 10/22! :D Then just a couple pins, pull out the 1 spring and bolt release "plate" and insert the new one, realign the spring, and put the pins back. Function test and reassemble.

Or you can just modify the existing one yourself and save some money. Takes 5 mintues with a round file. There is a picture in one of the 10-22 sticky threads on how it's suppose to look when you modify it.

I did mine, took me no time at all, its an easy modification, I used a small dremel tool to modify mine and used a couple youtube videos for the "know how"
