Ruger Sr-22 For hunting?

This might be a dumb question, but the Ruger SR-22 is a non-restricted .22LR rifle; therefore, it is fully legal to go hunting with. If I fully trick out my SR-22 with sights and rails and what-not, do you think I will have an issue with the feds? I'm in New Brunswick BTW.
 
Provided you are hunting something which is legal to shoot with .22lr then I don't see what the big deal is? It's a 10/22 no matter how much you tart it up.

Depends on what type of animal you are hunting. Different provinces have different rules. Your not going to be able to go deer hunting with a .22
