Ruger SR-22 ''look a-like'' project

Can someone build a SR-22 (ARish) ''look a-like'' for less the retail price of a SR-22? What sort of parts would one need?

You are better off buying the SR-22. Buying individual parts will cost you two to three times the price.

Note some brands sell a dedicated AR15 for decent prices, but you lose the 30 round mag. Perhaps you need to look at other 10/22 kits like the arch angel
