Ruger SR-22 or modify standard 10/22 with Archangel stock

well i fell into the SR-22 game today. been watchin them a bit and was a local shop they had em on sale for 459$ so i picked one up. now iam kinda dissapointed it is the SR-22RSC the model without the flash hider. not that it needs it but its much better looking with it i think. other than that i love it. no cheep plastic feel. anyways, my first question is who makes diff bbls for this? i underestand just from a bit of reading it has a bigger shank than the standard 10-22?

Any 10/22 barrel. Its the same receiver

I just bought a SR22 today....a shipment of 3 came in the door as I was there, and I had to wait for them to enter them into inventory, but 15 mins later, I walked out with a new one. I was told that one more was spoken for, but one left still. The gunshop is in southern ontario, so PM me if you want details of which shop....I paid $569, but I would of paid more because I was looking for one also. These ones have a collapsible M4 stock, and threaded muzzle with cap, for a flash suppresor, but no flash suppresor on it.

I know of another gun shop about 2 hours drive north with one also.

Nice guns, and with the medium heavy 16" barrel, they are quite accurate. After I scope it, and bring it to the range, I will decide if it needs a trigger job, but if its like a regular 10/22 trigger, then it will.

I think I will put a 1-4 X's scope on it, so it matches the tacticool looks, but has better range than a red dot. I'm not sure exactly what scope to buy yet, but I was thinking about a millet dms, or something similar.
