Ruger sr 22 safety

No...not unless you do some filing mods the the detent notches when you reverse it.
There are companies that sell "drop in" left handed safety's and IMO the only way to go.
It just leaves no room for regretful accidents.....;)

Thanks Wham-O. I was asking for technically challenged, computer illiterate buddy who is obviously a lefty. So he can do a drop-in lefty kit? Thats cool...

No prob. dvn00....only glad to help.
Rimfire Sports sells a VQ safety that can be ordered for right or left handers.

$9.95 is a cheap fix...... ;)

Definetly not a good idea, the ruger sr-22 is the exact same as the ruger 10/22, just comes in a different stock set up. I took a 10/22 apart and i accidently put the safety back in on the wrong side and it would not allow the gun to fire properly, or not #### at all. Someone mentioned above to get a aftermarket, this would be the best idea for you. All parts in the reciever are identicle to the ruger 10/22. I have both models and i do know this for sure.
