Ruger SR-556 in Canada?

I haven't heard of any dealers or any individuals for that matter with SR-556's? Are these not available in Canada or is there just no interest in them? Personally I think they have a decent value to them...some nice "custom" features for a decent price point considering what you get...piston upper, Troy mid-length rail, Troy folding battle sights, fluted mid-heavy barrel (on the 556C model, fixed flash hider on that one but whatever, not like I'm ever going to have a suppressor) etc... I think they would be a much better deal than say an M&P-15?
...Thoughts/experience??
 
Odd...I searched the topic with no results...except my post. Also, when I clicked your link it came up "no match". Perhaps I'm having a noob prob???
 
No prob at all with those links for whatever reason...weird. Thanks for the help fella's. Learned somthing new: if it's marked 5.56 then the US won't export. Also, I need a tutorial with the search feature. haha. Sorry guys, still learning.
