and there's the problem with communicating via text. w/o some other indication or knowing that person well, you just can't tell what's meant as a joke/sarcasm and whats serious.
For what's it's worth I assumed you were kidding Drifter Dave, but there are people out there that would make a comment like that and be serious unfortunately (as Enefgee has demonstrated).
