Ruger SR-762

^^Same here--My Ruger SR 556 is very accurate. I'd love to explore the SR 762. And yes, I've never seen them advertised anywhere in Canada:(
I kinda wish they'd have them with 24" bbls--but 20" will do.

I know the first batch had feeding issues (defective lower I think) but last I read is that Ruger has since sorted that out... but that was sometime last summer I read that.

I just received an email back from Ruger, they stated "In its current configuration (20 rd mag) the SR-762 is not legal for commercial sale in Canada" I am looking for an AR in .308 Cal, anyone have a recommendation for a good AR 308

Wolverine carries Armalite. If I'm not mistaken, just to make sure that it's an A-series that accepts aftermarket mags. I believe the 10B only accepts proprietary Armalite mags.

Thanks for the help, I called Wolverine, but they don't have it in stock, they figure 4 - 6 months before they do. It looks like it will be 600.00 more than what i would have paid for the SR-762

The dpms g2 is superior to every .308 ar currently available.
Sounds completely crazy that I'd recommend a dpms over a kac, lmt, dd, etc., I know, but it is what it is.
I'd put the ruger 7.62 down near the bottom of the list, front heavy, not terribly accurate, bad ergos...
