Ruger sr 9

Just picked one up from Wholesale Sports for 420.00. Can't go wrong for that price. Trigger felt a little gritty until I stripped it down and gave it a good cleaning. It has a little bit of creep but is crisp and light. This is my first striker fired pistol but it compares well to my two Sig's single action feel. Looking forward to breaking it in.

I was worried about the gritty trigger pull at first, but after a couple of hundred rounds it is smooth. I love my SR9!

And care to share how you discovered this? lol

We start shooting the SR-9 at 2:55

I brought 4,000 rounds of ammo. We wanted to shoot at least 2,000 but we only managed about 500 - 600 in a short period of time. You can see Jarlath later on mentioning that the gun is burning hot.

Awesome video!! thanx for sharing! it looks like all had a great time! can't wait to punish my SR9 and see what she can take!

and as for triggers...
could one get an 8000 grit wetstone and polish the sear surface (tab on the striker)? taking note of the area the trigger bar touches and make it mirror? this is just my theory, have not tried it yet but plan to as soon as i can borrow my friends stone. this should smooth out part of the trigger... no?

and of course, going to put a touch of moly on the mating surfaces.
