I've bought more guns because of this man than anyone else, lol........

I wonder how hot a 10mm load it can take? Ruger's tend to be overbuilt to begin with, so I imagine the Buffalo Bore heavy cast train killing rounds should be fine b:

Yeah...that's a nice review on an interesting gun. What comes to my mind is the question 'How long til it shoots loose with X ammo?... I'm inclined to think if you mostly use standard loads and reserve the hot stuff for special occasions, it should last pretty well. How many thousands of hot rounds are people likely to shoot through it in any case?

I'm not generally a 1911 fan, but I've always liked Ruger guns, and if the price is right...

if my plastic Glock 40 10mm longslide can eat Buffalo Bore's 'stop the world from turning' hot loads im sure a all metal 1911 overbuilt by Ruger would be able to handle them no problem.
when i was shopping for a 10mm earlier this year i was torn between the Glock G40 and the Delta Elite and the RIA in 10mm.
went with the Glock.

now i kinda want one of these SR1911's in 10mm too!
would go nice next to my SR1911 in 45 and my SR1911 CMD.
