Many wanted to try the new kid on the block.

45 newbies realize 45 is a lot harder to shoot with factory ammo a lot more expensive than 9mm.
Seasoned folks likely already had a more refine/expensive 45s, SR1911 proves you get what you pay for.

Gotta have one ! shoot two boxes, ammo is how much! brass costs for 100 is the same as 1000 9mm to reloading . IT is also some folk just want to try one than move on to another . No real concerns about the function of the firearm, if it was the TRASHing would be loud and long. I only see a few wimpers now and then.
