I was looking at getting the Ruger SR22 with some TI25 mags, a leapers accushoot 3-12x44 30mm scope, rings, some sort of bipod and a fake suppressor. Can you guys show me pictures or give me any advice on what model #s and gear I should get, I want to buy it all from Canada, I WAS GOING TO BUY cci MIN MAGS FOR AMMO UNLESS YOU GUYS HAVE A BETTER SUGESTION.
Can you buy a threaded barrel with gun or do you need to go the machine shop or buy new barrel route just to put on a fake suppressor?
what size rings would you recomend and is there a canadian store where i could get a package deal on all this?
Any advice would be great
Thanks
DOUG

You can't buy it with a threaded barrel, you must have it machined or buy after-market. I think high rings are what most people use (it's what I have on mine). Tactical Innovations mags can be got at TufferBuffer. It's noble to buy Canadian, but for little things, like rings, try eBay or another American source. WAY cheaper.

if you live in langford go down to island outfitters and price stuff out. they have sr22 in stock...unless i bought the last one.

yay im heading down there today they have one as well as wholesale sports.

the price isnt to concerning to me. its just Island outfitters ####ty stock, I was hopeing to see pics and testamonies of what looks good and works, and were to get it. I dont want to order from states cause i always get screwed on shipping and boarder fees. IE a 10$ part has cost me 72$ before.
I wish there was a "build your own sr222 acsessaries site" online.

dlask arms - they make a killer set of rails for these guns, I bought them and definitely pass the word around about the quality of the items, fit and finsih, and just an A+ overall buying experience.

butler creek steel lip magazines (not hot lip!!) are fantastic, mine feed perfectly it doesnt matter how fast I shoot

screw CCI mini mags, run any bulk pack ammo through it like fed 525 or winchester 333/555

I also bought the Dlask rails, they fit like a glove. I ran through 1000 remington cyclones with only 1 jam. Im trying remington vipers right now but they seem to jam up a bit more maybe 1 or 2 out of 100, I think its the edges on the head of the bullet its a strange shape. Im running a red dot and grip on the front tactical link single point bungee sling and butler creek steel lipped mags with a mag loader. In general shes a fun toy.

Yep have to agree with all, Dlask rails are the ONLY way to go for an SR22. Now if you happen upon another shop called Iron Eagle Tactical, be warned these rails ARE NOT Picatinny standard and most AR15 furniture that has a key will not fit on these rails, plus they have slightly different dimensions, so anything that has a QR mount and is not adjustable will not fit.

Dlask all the way.... :)

thanks guys, im going to pass on the rails for now, ill probley pick up gun, high rings and the previuosly mentioned scope.
any other tips would be great. thanks

I find with little things (rings, bases, swivels, scope covers, etc.) eBay is the only way to go. Never have I had to pay more than the listed price + shipping. When ordering from some other American supplier online, you're right, you never know what sort of charges will get tacked on.

How about some koo-laid?
