I have a Ruger 10/22 take down, and to be honest, its just as good as the non-take down model. I like the idea of it being busted apart and its own little carry bag, which is just so very convenient for the range and out back camping, hiking on crown land during small game season, etc.

However, I would love to see a SR takedown. Why? Because I like the idea of it, the fun factor. Same idea as the 10/22 just a little more 'modern' and for my body, pistol grips just feel nicer than traditional stocks.

This may exist already, or may not. There may be different stocks available for the take down model as well. I'd be happy with either, but can't seem to source anything in Canada.

Anyone like this concept, know it is already out there, or of pistol grip stocks for the 10/22? Anyone else getting pizza and beer for the mid season opener of the walking dead?

Cheers all!

There are several stocks with pistol grips available for the 10/22 TD, however I am not aware of an SR22 TD stock. There is a complete list of all TD stocks on Rimfirecentral:

Excellent thanks, lots to look at! Looks like the magpul one is pretty sweet at first glance.

I really like the Magpul stock design myself. I have one (similar design) on my 870P shotgun and have tried a friends on his 10/22. I have a Magpul Hunter X-22 Take Down on the way from IRG, along with a Tac Hammer barrel:
