It's getting quite hard to find these little buggers, especially with threaded barrel and adjustable stock.
I have spoken to some retailers here, what puts me off from pre-ordering one is that the down payment is non-refundable/non-transferable
I 100% understand the refund part, but non-transferable!? If i have waited 12 months i beleive i should have another shot at something.
Anyways you guys have any advice as to where to look?
Thanks

Maybe this one is still for sale?

Not sure what kinda mark is on the barrel, but a brush guard from Iron Eagle Tactical would cover it up if its just cosmetic. Can't tell if its adjustablable or threaded from the picture.

Keep in mind you can always replace the barrel (I got a heavy 12.5" threaded from Dlask Arms for mine), or get it threaded by a gun smith.

Was PMd as soon as ad went up, sold but did not remove ad. Thanks anyways!
I guess i could get it threaded, it's just i would prefer factory to save costs. I had a mossberg 590 threaded for chockes and i bet it's not worth a dime more if i we're to sell it.

Easiest solution would be to buy a non threaded barrel version and replace the barrel with something from dlask or another barrel company that is already threaded.

...or have a smith thread the existing barrel. Clearly the non-threaded barrels are not high demand items....so the OP would have a tough time recovering significant value if he were to replace and sell the OEM barrel.

Who said sell the original?

I kept my original non threaded barrel, ill throw it on if I ever sell the gun, it'll be a brand new barrel and I can sell the used Dlask barrel for a good return.

Danimal247, honnestly i think you got the best solution here. Has having 2 barrels i can recuperate somewhere.
In the case of my moss 590, Tacord made a fantastic job, but the 120$ spent will never even get 10$ in return when it will come time to sell.

Anyways i put my good 10/22 up for trade with some $$$ for a SR22 on the EE. We'll see if something comes up during the weekend

Ps I love my sr22

Danimal, thanks for sharing, but now you have REALLY given me the itch to buy an SR22 ASAP!
I do own a 20 inch Armalite btw, but i do think this is the non-res .22 that's the closest to an AR15, especially with the DLASK rails and flash hider like you got on there.

Sorry to copycat but i will be going with a similar setup, one of the sweetest sr22's i have ever seen.
I am usually not a fan of magpul, but i will magpul the stock, grip, angled fore frip all in tan. Maybe even search for a tan eotech to put on top. Even if the sight would be expensive for a 22, i can always slap it on an ar. Dlask rails and barrels are a must.

I also have a similar setup, check out this thread for pics and info: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...-up-my-SR-22&p=8978076&viewfull=1#post8978076

bowzy, very nice indeed. You are even close to what i wish to acheive, since you are using a holographic style red dot, got the angled foregrip and some kind of mag sleeve so it ressembles a 5.56 mag.
I will basicly do your setup, add siderails and rail covers like Danimal's, and try to pick a colour to colour match the whole thing.
I know it's still not an AR, but in my opinion to have tried an SR22, it's the funest non-res rimfire plinker. It would be great for the cottage/sandpit!

jparent, PM sent!
