Your options are the archangel 9-22 mags, or battledyne.

9-22 gave me problems until I shimmed the back of the mag at the top of the sleeve. Had battledyne mags, had issues. Returned those. waiting for updated ones.

It's getting quite hard to find these little buggers, especially with threaded barrel and adjustable stock.
I have spoken to some retailers here, what puts me off from pre-ordering one is that the down payment is non-refundable/non-transferable
I 100% understand the refund part, but non-transferable!? If i have waited 12 months i beleive i should have another shot at something.
Anyways you guys have any advice as to where to look?
Thanks

Non Transferable (Shop somewhere else) !!!

Yeah i know, it's one of the main sponsors on top of that! And he wants your pre-order as when you ask for item you are clearly given the info for pre-order.
When i phoned in and talked to an employee, he told me there was already 5 people on the pre-order list, and they we're waiting since march. All these guys we're non-refund, non-transfer
I do own a buisness and it's the homes main income, and has been for the last 6 years. I sell/install plumbing, a bit different than firearms but anyways.
Special order faucets require deposit, and if they don't deliver i do not refund, so i understand that part. But i do transfer the down onto another item. Even if it is giving me extra trouble. So the extra trouble or manhours are not an argument in my opinion, as sellings goods is also giving some service, you can't turn 100% sales into profit.
Guess i'm done #####ing now !

You have a right to say NO.. It's not like the product won't sell and he'll get stuck with it.. unless a custom piece.. NOPE I say

I don't think its a fair policy on a popular gun that should be a stock item. I wouldn't give them a deposit on those terms either.

Thread revival, i am getting ready to proceed with build as parts are coming in.
I now have doubts, even if hbar is 12" long, how front heavy are SR22's once installed?
My intention with the sr22 was kind of an action sport gun

What is the barrel dia of the dlask? I went with mcgowen and wonder how my flashider would look on it

Everything is almost in, the sr22 is in anyways, to those changing barrels.
I took the stock one off and is .750'' dia, new one will be .920''
There is a block in front so that barrel sits on handguard, did you simply order a new one or filed the existing one down?

Yep, it just free floats. I've read it can improve accuracy. As for the weight of the .920, I am unsure. Does the .920 bbl come with a different (ie stronger) V-block?

Also, I think if you want to keep the sling stud on the HG, for a bi-pod or sling, I think you need to keep at least part of the bbl support block, in which case you'd just want to file/sand it down rather than remove it entirely.

When my support was in, my bbl was slightly off-centre with the HG, it was too high up. When I took it apart and reassembled sans bbl support, the bbl was perfectly centered in the HG.
