Or you could get a regular cheap 10/22, and put it in a Nordic chassis. You can then scour the EE Modern Military Parts for a buttstock, grip, and handguard.
I changed my mind on the sr22. I decided to order a Nomad stock from Wanstalls for 200$. Even with a 250$ 10/22, I'm still about 100$ cheaper than an sr22. Despite all the plastic, I feel I will have something a little more unique.
Thanks for the info guys. I ended up finding a Kel Tec Su22 locally and picked that up today. Now all I need to do is find some mags and the pistol grip Stock.
The nomad is a solid stock, I was really surprised how tight my 10/22 felt in it. Check out the G36C conversion threads on CGN and you'll get the bug to start modding it
