Are these even in Canada yet? I thought this was a new 2013 model which usually means maybe next year they might slowly trickle in...

Not sure. I remember seeing one dealer was advertising the new SR 1911 Commander size as being available so I was kind of hoping.

The shooting centre in west edmonton has none.
