Are these in Canada yet ?
Apparently, they also have carrier tilt problems.
ARFCOM...Where did you read that? I haven't read of many issues at all. Not all piston systems are created equal.

I talked to Mark Gurney about my returned "badly tilted" carbine on Wednesday. He told me that the tilt issues were related to tolerance stack, as I had guessed. The problem comes from the height of the takedown pin lugs/holes in relation to the height of the bore over the buffer tube. Mark told me that they'd measured my gun against one of theirs that shows almost no wear. As a result, they're creating some gauges to identify the high tolerances in future guns.
A big "+1" to Ruger for the quick attention!
Thanks for the heads up.Hehe....I saw that thread a long time ago. It's two years old. Ruger related the OP's problem to "
Research some recent posts, the reviews are very favorable.![]()
Interested in these as well. I've read some favorable reports, and Ruger does tend to really support the Canadian market.

I had a chance to shoot one in tennessee last year. I never thought i would say this but Ruger really made a good AR-15.
It's not our laws. It's the US State Department's policies.... (Or do you mean AR-15's being restricted?)
I checked this rifle on the registry list, seems its prohib cause its full auto select fire but they can come into the country but too much trouble....sorry guys

???
These are sold as a semi auto only in the US as well.
As mentioned above, the lack of these in Canada has nothing to do with any "registry list" or anything to do with Canada at all. The US won't allow them out due to being marked 5.56, the flash hider and the collapsible stock.
bingo.
so trakker; trolling? or just misinformed?
its a shame non of these have made it up here, I'm a big fan of piston guns, and would like to see a few range reports etc.
